BMany were surprised by the low score that pollsters promised Yannick Gadot and found it surprising that the environmental great wave doesn’t carry the single “100% green” candidate higher. On the contrary, we can find that it is almost miraculous that he is still credited with about 5% of voting intentions because geopolitical and economic conditions have undermined his program and even his ideas even more.
The war in Ukraine first had the effect of setting the urgency and fundamental nature of some of the major battles eagerly led by the environmental candidate, first and foremost denounced by the hunting lobby. His frequent and moving calls to ban the practice on weekends, and to leave ducks and wild boars in peace…
