A traditional Asian food, tofu comes from curd made by pressing soybeans. It is low in calories and rich in vegetable proteins, vitamins and trace elements. Its neutral taste is imbued with the flavors of the food being cooked! Depending on its texture, it can be prepared in a thousand ways: marinated, baked, in sauce … or simply by enhancing its taste with some spices such as sesame, soy sauce and aromatic herbs!
For 1-2 people you will need: 150g silken tofu, 2 tablespoons salted soy sauce, 2 tablespoons sesame oil, 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds, 1 stalk of green onion, 1 small handful of fresh wakame seaweed (optional) ).

Toast the sesame seeds by pouring them into a non-stick frying pan. Heat them on low heat for 2-3 minutes. Watch them while stirring to brown evenly, then let them cool on a plate.
Wash the green onions and cut them into small slices with a thin onion and a very mild flavor. If you can’t find any, you can substitute them with chives, shallots, or even shallots. Cut the tofu into large cubes and put in a bowl. Sprinkle with soy sauce and sesame oil. Sprinkle the green onions and toasted sesame seeds that have been lightly crushed with a pestle in the mortar.
Garnish tofu with wakame seaweed or any other ingredient of your choice, such as mesclun, raw vegetables…to make your salad even more delicious!
