Lentil falafel recipe

Enough for 4 people
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Rest time : 1 night + 1 hour
cooking time: 3 minutes

Ingredients :

250gm green lentils
– 1 onion
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– Tahina (Tahina)
– Half a bunch of parsley
Half a bunch of coriander
– frying oil

Prepare :

1. Soak the lentils in water overnight. Usually, lentils don’t need soaking time: For this recipe, they are made exceptionally well for softening because they will cook for a very short time.

2. Drain the lentils well and put them in a blender bowl. Add chopped onion, minced garlic, turmeric, paprika, cumin, tahini, chopped parsley and coriander. Mix until a homogeneous texture is obtained.

3. Leave it to cool for an hour.

4. With wet hands, form balls the size of a euro 2 coin. If the mixture is too sticky, re-wet your hands.

5. Fry the falafel in a frying pan or in a frying pan with a few centimeters of oil, until slightly golden.

– Lemon juice

Prepare :

– 1 can of Ras El Hanout
– 1 can of sweet pepper
– 1 can of cumin in a pill
– 1 drizzle of olive oil
– 1 large onion
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 400 grams mashed tomatoes
– 250 ml water
– 4 eggs
Half a bunch of coriander

Prepare :

1. In a large skillet, add the spices and roast them in olive oil for a few minutes.

2. Add the onion cut into small cubes and the garlic cloves, chopped into small cubes, and fry until golden.

3. Add drained chickpeas, mashed tomatoes, water and mix well. Let it simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.
