Three easy recipes for snacks with the kids (or alone, to eat them all, that’s okay too)

We share with you our favorite recipes that are easy to prepare with children, even if they are young.

Kitchen and child in the same sentence is often synonymous with carnage. Not their fault. They don’t necessarily have the best coordination of their limbs. And once you had to hold the spoon without spilling it everywhere, well, no one was left.

But since we’re learning by doing this, we’ve found some for you Recipes that are easy to achieve, fun and good (Okay, yeah, we’re not stupid either), to teach them how to use a whip without necessarily putting it in their eye (or yours).

Yogurt cake recipe

Yogurt cake is a classic for the little ones (but not only). It is very easy to make and dose, and it also has the big advantage of being very good and can be customized as desired, by adding chocolate chips, jam or whatever comes to mind.

For its manufacture, you will need (thinking that we use an empty yogurt pot as a dispenser):

  • Yogurt (cow or plant milk)
  • 3 packets of flour
  • 2 sugar jars
  • 1/2 bowl of oil (or melted butter)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 sachet of yeast
  • my choice : 1 teaspoon orange blossom according to flavor

The first step, we empty the pot of yogurt well into the salad bowl. Then fill the yoghurt pot with flour, then sugar. Add the eggs and stir and stir and add half of the bowl of oil, yeast, neroli extract or anything you want to add like chocolate chips or apple pieces for example. We still stir everything trying not to have sex all over the place. Dip your finger in the dough to taste, transfer everything to a mold with butter.

Stop , In the oven for 35 minutes at 180 degrees! The cake is cooked when you insert the blade of the knife in the middle, and it comes out without a trace.

For these super decadent, good and fragrant mini muffins, you’ll only need four ingredients. To make about 12 boulders, you will need:

  • 60g grated coconut
  • 60 grams fine sugar
  • 1 egg white at room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon melted butter

In a bowl, start by mixing the melted butter and egg whites using a whisk. Gradually add sugar until foamy. We don’t have to make Snow White either, huh, calm your wrist! Then add the coconut little by little while continuing to mix.

Once it holds together well, you can, with your fingers and your offspring’s fingers, form small balls, slightly spaced between them, which you can then place on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

We hope to go In the oven at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes (The rocks should be golden.)

Cereal bars with chocolate chips

So yeah, technically it’s not really a cake, but it’s so good, healthy, and so easy to prepare that I wanted to share my personal recipe with you. Yes, I am, altruism, what do you want?

To make cereal bars (which can be made into granola if you don’t have a suitable mold and if you wish), you will need:

  • 100 grams of oats
  • Handful of whole almonds
  • handful of hazelnuts
  • 100gm chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons mashed almonds or peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons liquid honey

In a salad bowl, add oat flakes, chocolate chips, a handful of almonds, and pre-mashed hazelnuts. Then add peanut puree and liquid honey. Mix everything well and add a little honey if you wish.

If you have money templates, that’s great, you just have to fill them out with your settings. If you don’t have one (like me), you can also roll the dough out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, about 1 centimeter thick. When it’s done, all you have to do is chop up the cereal by hand. It won’t be very oblong in shape, but it will taste great, we promise. You can also break everything up coarsely and crumble a little, to make a granola to add to your yogurt.

Once you have finished preparing, we hope to put everything together In the oven for 10-15 minutes at 170 degrees. You can put less or longer depending on your taste, if you like it crunchy a lot or not.

Come on, let’s go make the best snacks!
